Val di Zoldo once again proved to be a good stage for university snowboarding as the Snowboarding competitions of the European Universities Winter Championships 2025 delivered good level performances across individual and team events.
Despite persistent rain that forced the postponement of the Alpine Skiing Slalom events, the close cooperation between EUSA, the Local Organising Committee and the participating university teams made it possible to carry out the snowboard competitions as scheduled, ensuring both safety standards and sporting continuity.

Team Giant Slalom: Cooperation and Strategy at the Core
The Snowboarding Team Giant Slalom highlighted the collective dimension of university sport, combining technical skills, coordination and team strategy.
The gold medal was claimed by Warsaw University of Technology 1, with Zofia Calka and Konstanty Jonak delivering consistent and complementary performances.
Silver went to University of Warsaw 2, represented by Zuzanna Milczarska and Michał Lachowicz, while the bronze medal was secured by University of Warsaw 1, with Klaudia Nowak and Gabriel Seroczynski.
The team event once again underlined the depth and structure of Polish university snowboarding programmes.
Parallel Giant Slalom: Individual Excellence on Display
In the Women’s Parallel Giant Slalom, Olga Kaciczak of Jagiellonian University confirmed her excellent form, taking gold ahead of Nisa Ozsoy (Ozyegin University) and Zuzanna Sokalska (Wroclaw University of Science of Technology).
The Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom saw another strong showing from Polish universities, with Gabriel Seroczynski (University of Warsaw) taking the top step of the podium, followed by teammate Michał Lachowicz, while Bartlomiej Kaciczak (AGH University of Krakow) completed the podium in third place.
A Strong Signal from University Snowboarding
Across all snowboard disciplines, the competitions confirmed the high technical level and growing competitiveness of European university snowboarding, with Poland emerging as the dominant force throughout the events.
At the same time, the ability to adapt the programme in response to weather conditions demonstrated the effectiveness of the organisational framework and the shared responsibility between EUSA, the Organising Committee and the teams, ensuring that sport could continue safely and smoothly.
With snowboard competitions successfully completed, the European Universities Winter Championships 2025 continue to showcase not only sporting excellence, but also cooperation, resilience and the core values of university sport.
